This year’s Delivery of Functionality Conference, hosted by the Riddet Institute from 5th – 8th November in Auckland, was superb. With over 170 attendees from all over the world, it was the perfect opportunity for discussion, collaboration and networking.
The 12 key note speakers all gave insightful and thought-provoking presentation, with one even being conducted virtually without a hitch. Special thanks go to Prof Raffaele Mezzenga and Dr Job Ubbink for their presentations and considerable effort toward the conference series.
There were 35 lectures from internationally submitted papers and 80 poster presentations, all of an exceptionally high quality. The Best Student Poster Award went to Ms Ines Kutzli (University of Hohenheim, Germany). Special mentions went to Mr Dipankar Bhattacharya (University of Auckland and the Riddet Institute, New Zealand), Mr Bangxiang Chen (University of Auckland and the Riddet Institute, New Zealand) & Mr Artur Martins (University of Minjo, Portugal). Overall, it was an outstanding event and we look forward to the next iteration, DOF 2019, in Portugal.
