Dr Anant Dave comes from the western part of India, and his hometown is about a few hours’ drive north of the city of Mumbai. Dr Dave completed his B. Tech. (Dairy Technology) and M.Sc. (Food Technology) in India, and then his Ph.D. (Food Technology) at the Riddet Institute, Massey University (2014).
After completing his Ph.D., Dr Dave worked at the Teagasc Food Research Centre, Ireland as a Post-Doctoral Researcher for a year. Prior to joining Massey University, he was working in India with DuPont Nutrition and Health in the Dairy Applications Team. His professional experience also includes working with Unilever, Nestle and Amul in different technical functions and roles.
In his current role, Dr Dave is working on the project entitled: Multi-side structures of lipids in foods: Implications for nutritional and sensory properties.
