Parthasarathi completed his Ph.D. from CSIR-Central Food Technological Research Institute, Mysore, India and Master of Technology in Chemical Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, India. His PhD research was focused on fabrication of artificial intestinal system to evaluate absorption of micronutrients.
His research interest includes nano and microencapsulation of food bioactive compounds for the protection and controlled delivery of bioactives and investigating the biological fate and the influence of food nanoparticle on in vivo bioavailability. Parthasarathi joined Riddet Institute as a Postdoctoral fellow in 2018. And he is currently involved in the “Modelling physical processes underlying digestion” project.
