The new digital age is changing the world in ways that are not yet fully appreciated, and this gives New Zealand agribusiness the potential to address customers in totally new ways. Businesses are changing from traditional pipeline models to platform models. The change is happening faster than many realise and will have profound implications for all, including the food industry. This could be a threat or an opportunity for our industry, depending on how we respond. It is important to act now to take advantage of these changes.
This one-day workshop brought together thought leaders from the New Zealand food and related industries, together with New Zealand and international experts, to identify the opportunities and priorities for making it happen.
