Professor Jaspreet Singh has established an internationally recognised research program on plant-based foods, carbohydrates and alternative proteins at Massey University since 2004. The research programme has successfully generated intellectual property and peer-reviewed publications in top-tier journals, attracted funding from external sources, built international research and industry linkages and strengthened our human resources (graduate students and young researchers). Prof. Singh's research program contributes towards solving major issues around food sustainability and food security. Prof. Singh is working as a full professor and currently affiliated with the School of Food Technology and Natural Sciences at Massey University in Palmerston North.
