Dr Jake Oh

Dr Jake Oh is a Lecturer and Researcher in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Auckland. He completed his BTech, MSc, and PhD at the University of Auckland, where his doctoral research focused on generating insulin-producing beta-cells from induced pluripotent stem cells. Since joining the University in 2022, his work has focused on cultivated meat production and protein engineering of enzymes for wastewater treatment, with broader interests in sustainable biotechnology and bioprocess innovation.
