Prof. Leo Cheng

Professor Leo Cheng is a Principal Investigator at the Riddet Institute. Leo is based at the Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland where he leads the Gastrointestinal Motility Research Group. Leo’s main research interests are to improve our understanding of gut function and their influence on ingested digesta and gut health. In particular, he uses mathematical modelling approaches to simulate gut function and experimental approaches to validate the mathematical models.
