Dietary Protein for Human Health | International Symposium

Utrecht, The Netherlands | Thursday 14 September - Saturday 16 September 2023

The International Symposium: Dietary Protein for Human Health covered a broad range of topics concerning the role of protein in human nutrition, health and well-being. The symposium was co-organised by FAO, two leading universities, and in cooperation with IAEA.

Following on from the highly influential symposium held in Auckland, New Zealand in 2011, this summit meeting provided an update and "forum for debate" on contemporary issues related to protein nutrition in human health and sustainable food protein production. The three-day conference was held both in-person and virtually, with proceedings to be published in a leading open-access journal. You can purchase the recordings of the symposium by filling in the form above.
